Meet Our Founder

LUCRETIA "Livacious Lu®" CLARK, BSBA, HC, CAS is a Bay Area visual artist, entrepreneur, wellness facilitator, and storyteller whose work lives at the intersection of creativity, culture, and community.

The name LIVACIOUS LU® was inspired by a nickname given to Lucretia by a marketing professional she befriended while living in the Philly area. What began as a reflection of her vibrant spirit and creative energy has grown into a lifestyle brand rooted in beauty, culture, connection, and intentional living.

Since 2009, Lucretia has created mixed-media artwork using textiles, fiber, and unconventional tools to build richly layered pieces inspired by color, texture, HERstory, and lived experience. Her artwork has been featured in juried, curated, and community exhibitions from Pennsylvania to California.

Her passion for creating meaningful experiences extends beyond the canvas.

As Founder and Executive Director of The Vibrancy Foundation™, Lucretia leads a nonprofit dedicated to advancing wellness, creativity, leadership, and community for Black Women through culturally rooted experiences that encourage reflection, authentic connection, and personal restoration.

While LIVACIOUS LU® transforms the spaces people live in, The Vibrancy Foundation™ creates spaces where women can pause, reconnect with themselves, and rediscover what's possible. Her passion for creating meaningful experiences extends far beyond the canvas.

Originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Lucretia now lives in the San Francisco/Oakland Bay Area with her husband, Dave Clark, Emmy Award-winning journalist,keynote speaker, emcee, voice artist, and longtime KTVU FOX 2 News Anchor. Together they enjoy supporting regional arts, discovering local restaurants, traveling, and investing in the communities they proudly serve.

Lucretia also serves on the Advisory Board of Joshua's Gift, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting families living with autism while advancing inclusion, dignity, and respect for individuals on the autism spectrum.
